| A guide to how we transfer and remaster your Video Tapes...
"Tell me what I'm paying for..."
We digitally remaster and repair your film through our professional editing decks.
Your transfer will be carried out by one of our highly experienced film editors. Every transfer is carried out manually, and fine-tuned and adjusted to the specific needs of each tape to get the best results possible. This level of skill and use of equipment costing tens of thousands of pounds, makes it impossible to get results anywhere like ours using a home PC set-up. |
|
Results vary depending on the quality and age of the tape, and what has caused the problems, but all films experience very worthwhile improvements, with the majority of transfers being breathtakingly better.
The best results are obtained by using the original recording, not a copy of a tape.
"What kind of problems can you fix?..."
Customers are astonished to find that films that jump to the point of being unwatchable due to tracking problems and stretched, saggy tapes, can become viewable film once more. Worn out and degraded tapes which have washed out colours, orange skin tones, and white fuzzy flecks, can be improved. If you have a large collection of film to transfer, why not sample the service on one tape to see just how much we can do for you - we're sure you'll be amazed!

"Can I have my tapes in High-Definition and Blu-ray?..."
Yes. We offer professional upscale to Blu-Ray. See our dedicated Video-HD page by clicking here.

Proven
DV codec Technology
At the heart of our system is the proprietary DV codec chip providing
the industry's best picture quality preservation during analog-to-DV
conversion.

Clean,
stabilize and preserve analog video
Our system employs advanced 3D Y/C separation, 3D noise reduction and Line Time Base Correction (LTBC) functions for perfect frame synchronization. Poor analog source video is filtered and stabilized prior to DV conversion.

Advanced
image enhancement features
2D/3D Y/C separation - 2D Y/C separation separates Brightness
(Y) and Chrominance (C) from the composite source signal by one frame.
Our 3D Y/C separation separates by cross-referencing each frame with
the frames immediately in front and behind, further refining and improving
the overall image quality. |

 |
Digital 3D noise reduction
Eliminates noise in the analog video signal by detecting noise based on the characteristics |
|
 |
Digital 3D frame synchronizer
Stores incoming signals into a frame buffer to supply a stable, synchronized signal to the DV encoder chip Digital Line Time Base Corrector (LTBC) – Detects images with strong horizontal
jitter and employs powerful correction methods to repair the jitter. |
