What is this service for?
We offer the "draft copy" service to help you organise your tapes into the right order and choose appropriate names for the chapter headings.
First, we transfer all your tapes to DVD, making each tape it's own chapter - so if you have 12 tapes, the DVD will have 12 chapters. If you enlarge the "Time Stamp" picture below, you will see an example of how we display the current tape, and a time counter, on-screen during the entire movie. So you don't have to worry about how to get your TV to display this information for you, it is ever-present so you always know exactly which tape is playing, and you make note of the exact time-code to request changes to your film.
After watching the DVD with your family, you contact us with details of the exact order you want us to follow, deleting any tapss you don't want included. At this stage you can also give each chapter a unique title for the DVD menu, and even add things like on-screen titles, dedications and messages for just £2.50.
From October 2009, we are trialing an exciting new service whereby, for an extra cost, you can not only swap around the running order of the tapes, but make detailed editing requests to really fine-tune and perfect your final DVD or Blu-ray. Please call and ask to speak to someone about this if it's something you're interested in...
If ordering on Blu-Ray your final film will be produced on Blu-Ray but drafts are supplied on standard DVDs.

Here is an example: Mrs Smith has given us 8 tapes of VHS but doesn't know what's on them.
We sent her a Draft DVD to watch, to which she emails us the following info:
