Chaptered Menus £25
Gone are the days when you have to endlessly rewind & fast forward
through your photo slideshow to find your favourite part... With the introduction of DVD & Blu-ray we give
you the facility to jump straight in at your favourite part - instantly - at the touch
of a button.
For just £25 we will split your DVD & Blu-ray into chapters of your choice, and create a personalised menu
screen to access them. Not sure what a DVD/Blu-ray menu is? Just think about
the index page of a book. Touch the chapter you want to read and the
book falls open at that exact page. Thats how DVD & Blu-ray menus work.
There are many ways you can split your photos or slides into chapters. Perhaps you want to sort them into years, or decades, or specific events. However you split them, just arrange them in a way that we can follow - there is no hard and fast rule here, as it depends on how your photos are stored. Many people like to separate each batch into it's own envelope and write the title of the chapter on the envelope. Please do what suits you best, and provide us with clear written instructions to follow and we'll do the rest.
A DVD menu is a functionally
essential tool to help you organise your images, and a beautiful visual
enhancement if giving as a gift.

Why Transfer my Photos and Slides to Blu-ray?
Well, for starters, we scan all images in high definition resolution for the best possible picture quality.
If you then order a DVD, we down-size the picture quality for standard resolution, thus losing much of the quality we have produced for you.
All images, even 35mm slides have more than enough data in them to produce a high resolution scan suitable for viewing on a high definition TV, so it's such a shame to lose that information by option for standard definition.
By opting for Slides and photos to Blu-ray in high definition. you're using your HD television to it's full potential. Check out the sample we have put on this website, or better still, order the Blu-ray demo disc to see the difference in picture quality for yourself.
Not only do you get far better picture quality, you benefit from the wealth of interactive features that Blu-ray discs have to offer too...

What is Blu-ray?
Blu-ray, also known as Blu-ray Disc (BD) is the name of a next-generation optical disc format.
The format was developed to enable recording, rewriting and playback of high-definition video (HD), as well as storing large amounts of data.
The format offers more than five times the storage capacity of traditional DVDs and can hold
up to 25GB on a single-layer disc and 50GB on a dual-layer disc. (DVDs hold just 4.7GB). |

Crystal Clear Picture
Blu-ray Discs have up to 6x better picture resolution than DVD. Resolution refers to the number of horizontal lines there are to fill the screen – the higher the number, the better the picture quality. Blu-ray Discs and players display at 1080p resolution, which is the highest standard today. (DVDs have just 576 lines).
Advanced Interactivity
Seamless menus allow you to navigate the disc without ever leaving the movie.
Beautiful themed menus and pop-up menus are included free on all Photos and slides to Blu-ray orders.
Backwards Compatible
All Blu-ray players can play DVDs. In addition, Blu-ray players “up convert” or “upscale” DVDs to a higher resolution so that they look even better than before.
I want my images transferring - why should I opt for Blu-ray?
You could just stick with a standard definition transfer - after all, it's damn good quality and it's less expensive.
However, you're in the process of moving your images from an outdated format to a modern one, and this will be done every generation no doubt to keep the images viewable throughout history - so shouldn't you really be going for the most technically advanced version available? If you don't do it now, someone will come to do it later and the Slide/Photos will sadly have deteriorated losing your priceless memories forever.
By opting for HD, you guarantee the definition is higher, the quality is superior, the format will last longer. Even if all your family are not fully HD compatible yet, you should still get your master copy done in HD, and order a copy on DVD so you can share it around every one in the family today, safe in the knowledge that you've future-proofed your photos.
What do I need to watch Blu-ray Disc high definition movies?
• HDTV (preferably 1080p resolution)
• HDMI cables (for the best picture quality)
• Blu-ray Disc player or PlayStation 3 (Blu-ray Discs will not play on DVD players)
