Before you sit down to enjoy your new DVD, here are a few pointers to ensure you get the maximum viewing quality...

1. Check your TV mode
The most important thing to remember when viewing your DVD is that your TV must be in the correct screen mode to display the film. Please check Film is distorted for more information.

Your cine film is captured in the standard television ratio of 4:3 (on some TV's this is especially important as some widescreen TV's automatically stretch the image to fit the screen which results in your film being pulled sideways. If this happens, the image may look slightly blurry, and you will all be short and wide - Not very flattering!

You can change the mode very simply using your remote control - refer to your TV manual if unsure.

2. Dim the Lights
Remember that your cine film was originally designed to be played in the dark, so to get the most from your movie, grab some popcorn and dim the lights!

We hope you enjoy your film...
